Caving Trip Gua Batu Maloi, N9

  Kalau nk citer pasal caving nie, rasenye perkare pertama yg trlintas kt minda adelah masuk gua kn? So, xsah la klau kiter x merangkak, berenang n memanjat batu2 kt dlm gua tu. Ni first-hand experience aku g caving b'same Kembara Rekreasi Uniten (K.A.R.E.N) pd 2Disember yg lalu. First time aku join aktvt diorang n aku rase aku dh mule minat kt Outdoor aktvt ni. Sebab aku suke melihat keindahan alam ciptaan Tuhan, dpt release tension, lari seketika dr prkare2 yg serabut kepale aku n dpt kwn baru =D


   30 Nov- Kitorng b'tolak dr kmpus petang. Sebelum tu kitorang dibhgikan kpd 4 kmpulan n packing brg2 mknan utk survive dsane. Bas yg ktorang naik bertolak pd jam 1900 dn sume participant hnye mnghitung mase utk smpai ke sane. 4jam prjlanan dan kami smpai d Hutan Lipur Gua Batu Maloi, Negeri Sembilan. Lps kitorng settle down kt campsite, the next day brmule lah aktvt kitorang.

  01Dis-  Pagi lepas kitorang sarapan, ade skit game n sesi ice-breaking dgn sume participant n pgwai pengiring. Dh puas ktorang main, rehat n prepare utk lunch pulak. Bagi ahli kelab KAREN yg baru join termasuk aku, kitorang dberi tnjuk ajar care2 mmasang fly, ikatan n prkare2 yg prlu d ambil kire smse aktvt prkhemhan djlnkn oleh senior2 sekalian. Lps lunch ktorang mndi sungai n main water polo..

   
  Tak lame lps tu hujan pun turun, xberape lebat tp dh ckup utk mbatalkan aktvt kami pd ptg itu. So, ktorng pun just lepak2 kt campsite, aku mase tu bru lps mkn, penat main bola n dh mandi.. so aku lelapkan mate smpai ke ptg..
  Mlm tu plk lps dinner ktorng lepak, borak n mnyanyi. tp ktorng kne warn supaye tdo lbih awal sbb esok nk pegi caving.

  02Dis- Jam 0900 kami b'kmpul n mlakukan stretching, warming up spye xder la cramp mse tgh jln nt. Guide yg akn bwk ktorng ke dlm gua ialah Abg Zain, bekerja d Jabatan Perhilitan n telah byk kali mbwa pljr2 U lain msuk ke dlm gua batu maloi tu.. Kire ni tmpat permainan dia la tu kan.. lps headcount setiap participant yg join caving, kami b'tolak apabile jam mnunjukkan 1000 tepat.

# Gua Batu Maloi ni sebnrnye adelah hnya tindihan batu2 sungai besar. Laluan sepanjang gua ini berair. Keadaan ddlm gua ni berbatu, licin n gelap. Terdpt 5 laluan yg berlainan, ade 24 checkpoint sume skali, 12 checkpoint utame dan kami dianggarkan akn brade dlm gua ni selame lebih kurang 2jam.

  Fasa pertame dlm p'jlnan kami adlh mrentasi sungai cetek tp mpunyai air yg jernih. Fasa ke-2 apebile ktorng mule msuk gua n dkelilingi oleh batu2 besar. belum mnggunakan headlamp krne msih dterangi chaya matahari. Thp kesukaran utk mlepasi celah2 batu smakin bertmbah bile kami smakin jauh ke dlm gua tu, dtambah lg dgn mlwan arus air sungai yg dingin lg deras mngalir. Aku disapa lembut oleh 'penjaga' checkpoint 3 apbila dia merayap di belakang bdn tnpa aku sedari semasa hndak brenang. Pada mula nye aku igtkn tgn mmber aku yg merayap.. rupenye Katak~
  Selain katak, penjaga gua ni terdiri drpd kelawar, ular n pacat. Kt sini gak lah 1st time aku kene gigit pacat. Spnjang pjlnan kaki aku kelua darah.. uh-oh!

  Kami brenti di checkpoint 6 n kami dgr crite dr A'zain tntg sjrh Gua Batu Maloi ni. Batu yg brade kt dlm gua ni adelah dr jenis Batu Granit. Asal name gua ni diambil dr seorang pnduduk org asli yg brnme Maloi. Dimitos kn bhwe trdpt satu batu besar brbentuk tempayan yg dkate kn klau dpt dpecahkan batu tu mungkin terdpt emas d dlm nye. Mitos juga mngatekan bhwa Maloi ini tlh terjumpe dgn seorang puteri dn mereka ingin berkahwin tetapi tidak mendapat restu drpd ibubapa mereka. Dan atas nama Cinta mereka lari ke Thailand untuk berkahwin d sana. Ade batu yg mnunjukkan lukisan Maloi dan puteri  d dlm gua tu.

  Slps rehat d checkpoint 6, kami mneruskan pjlnan yg dberitahu oleh abg zain bhwa track yg akn kami lalui ini gelap n agak sukar utk dlepasi. Boleh dikatekan kami hnye brgntung pd headlamp sbagai sumber chye utk mnyuluh jln. Kami melalui celah2 batu yg sempit, licin, n terpkse mlakukan plbagai posisi badan semate2 nk mlepasi celah2 batu gua ni. Ade laluan yg dberi name sperti laluan ibu mengandung, komando menangis n biawak terlentang. Aku hmpir khilgn torchlight aku smse mlalui slh satu laluan tu, tp selamat mmber aku yg kt blkg jmpe.

  Fasa terakhir pjlnan kami dlm gua ni semakin sukar bile terpkse mrempuh arus deras air yg sejuk, smpai ade dak laki yg tercabut selua kot.. memanjat di antara batu2 gua ni mmg expertise aku sbb aku suke klau bab2 memanjat ni. Ade gak lah sekali dua aku off-balance mse memanjat tu, dan yg mnnati aku kt bwh klau aku jatuh bkn nye rumput n tanah, tapi batu-batuan keras n air deras yg xpernah berhenti mngalir. tp Alhamdulillah, Allah masih beri peluang untuk aku hidup.  

  Checkpoint 16 adelah checkpoint terakhir kami n kami smpai d sane dlm jam 1330. Kami berhenti berehat seketika n sesi photoshoot berjalan. Pjlnan pulang kami ke campsite melalui jln hutan. And for that, its the end of our journey into the earth at Gua Batu Maloi.

Journey Into The Earth

Assalamualaikum n greetings to all =)

 I'm DarkPeace younger brother, who was asked by him to contribute to this blog. I was given a tasked to tell stories 'bout my trip to Gua Batu Maloi, Negeri 9. I'm new at blogging. Currently in progress to share on my caving experiences which I will click on the 'Publish' button once i've completed it. Correct me if i'm wrong n i'm ready to learn. New year, New challenge, New form, New hope

It's been a while since my last post. Too many unexpected things had happen. What can i do? huhuhuhuu...

2013 in its way. Another month and closing..i'll try to do my best to tell you what had happened to me, my thoughtsss and whatever things that come to my mind, since the last post, as i'll write.

A bit of history about this blog:
It'd starts in '09. At that time, i was in my 2nd year 2nd sem's final exam, to broke out my tension on papers, i started to wrote on this blog. Keep on writing for the first year of blogging with excitement. Entering new year of '10, i got busy with new phase of life, here n there, i got stuck with 'real threat' in life and its adrenalin rush to get back on. Towards the end of year, i get bored and come back here, blogging. It goes the same for another years. In '11, i m.i.a. Something quite cruel had happen to me. I've survived for now, getting '12 n '13 to be written here. 

I'm gonna tell you what had happen to me in the next post.

celcom broadband daily (24 hours full of downloading work)

planned to have some cracking work on my cells..so, i subscribe for daily broadband on celcom mobile at 5.13pm..

1st thing to do is connect the cell to lappy and using nokia pc suite..use the internet connection in pc suite, i establish the connection to the internet through my cell as the modem.. (for the info: utp internet won't allow reply page that exceed 50mb..thats y i'm using celcom broadband)

the first thing i do is download phoenix service software (130mb) << this installer wont work on my lappy and i just know after the subscriptions ends...sigh. then i update my ovi suite and try updating firmware using newly ovi but it fails. so, i disconnect the phone and updating it on the phone itself - succes - my new firmware v20.0.041. next thing i do is searching and downloading apps which i thought might be useful for me.

these are what i hv now in my cell:

games:

• ovi maps racing (car race game) - having fun race game with it :)
• su-30 (simple jet fighter game) - need to load some advertisement 1st b4 can be played (cost you some)
  
• cube touch XXL - boring game but exciting when u already bored
  
• chess lite - free version only can have level 1 but still exciting
  
• alphabet word search - kill ur time with this game, seriously...great word search game :)
  
• easy words - a quiz word game and can also can be used as dictionary
  
• ace riddler 1,2,3 - riddlessss, guess b4 u see the answer
  
• maze pipe - find the way out. simple and confusing game :)

apps:

• garmin mobile xt - work best when get the updated version
  
• nimbuzz - great for mobile chat environment
  
• gmail mobile apps - check ur gmail on the move. great apps - keep me away from workstation :)
  
• facebook mobile apps - browse ur fb acc on ur mobile. simple and best
  
• expandible linear conversion (ELC) - not explored yet but i think it is a great apps (for mathematician, engineers - work on linear equation on the move)
  
• GraphViewer - works on pre-installed equation and newly created equation and interpret them in graphical form
  
• voice recorder touch - record voice using full touch screen gui
  
• level indicator - indicate the tilting of surface using built-in sensor
  
• opera mobile 10.1 - faster surfing bcoz using smart compressing packet through the server. cost charged by network provider. best used when subscribed to broadband plan :)
  
• timer touch - timer with elapsed time using full touch screen gui. easy to use
  
• BrightLight - simple tochlight apps. working great on my cell
  
• Anglemeter - indicate degree of inclination of surface.
  
• Altimeter - indicate the height from sea level using built-in gps
  
• Elements - periodic table with simple properties. cannot exit from the apps, need to use phone task manager =(
  
• Weight Track - record ur weight but need to do it manually coz it wont measure ur weight automatically!
  
• SpeedTraps Lite - use internet connection to load data. not explored yet.
  
• Talking clock - remind u every hour for the time. help me to reminding myself on time constraint hourly. great apps :)
  
• Alcohol Meter - just for fun :)
